Together Forever

Love · Grief · Resentment

Release Date - 2023

About this film

Originally written as part of the Actors Growth Lab Film Festival in Fall 2023, Together Forever explores the emotional complexity that can exist long after a relationship has ended.Love and pain rarely exist in isolation. The people who hurt us are often the same people we cherish most, leaving us to carry both emotions long after they're gone. Through an intimate conversation that blurs the line between memory and reality, the film explores how grief is rarely just about loss—it can also be about the unresolved conversations, unanswered questions, and conflicting emotions we continue to live with.At its heart, Together Forever is about the parts of ourselves we never get the chance to say out loud, and how love, resentment, and longing can remain inseparable even after goodbye.

Themes & Intent

Change explores the quiet emotional battles that unfold beneath the surface of everyday life. At its core, the film grapples with the tension between compassion and self-preservation, questioning how we show love when we ourselves feel depleted. Through Timi’s journey, the story unpacks themes of human connection versus isolation, and pride versus vulnerability. It challenges the idea that generosity must come from abundance, suggesting instead that presence, attention, and empathy are powerful forms of giving. Change is a reflection on modern survival, and a reminder that even the smallest act can be a turning point.
